Fuel Filter: Most vehicles come with a servicable canister style fuel filter. This filters service interval is every 30,000 miles. Clogged fuel filters are one of the main reasons for pre mature fuel pump failure. They can also cause several driveability issues.

Timing Belt: Most vehicles require the timing belt to be changed at 100,000 miles. Some vehicle manufacturers recommend before and after the 100,000 mile mark.  If a timing belt were to break it can cause severe engine damage and be very costly to repair.
